Bruno has been found
Thanks to the internet the puppy Bruno has been reunited with it's owner. The dog was found wandering with another dog tied to him. Let this be a lesson to us all. No matter where you live do not become too comfortable with your surroundings. There are people out there that look for dogs to steal. We were lucky this time.
Dog Stolen from Alto Boquete

Betty Gray, a lovely client of mine in her 70's, had her Rottweiler puppy stolen from her yard Monday afternoon. A green Nissan type car with a man and a child stopped at her house to ask for work and when they left, Bruno was gone. Please help us find him. Betty is offering a $200 reward for any information leading to the return of her dog. You may contact me, Kristine Berg at 6473.8418 or Betty at 6505.0988.

Terrier day at Howling Success
Three month old Libby came to stay at Howling Success along with her brother Lex. Libby is a Jack Russell and Lex is a standard Poodle. Lex loves to play ball and Libby had great fun playing with Bizzie the resident Border Terrier. Libby isn't scared of anything being the breed she is. What a wonderful puppy. Terriers are such great little working dogs.

Che is now the Junior Champion of Panama!
The dog show in Panama city was Saturday and Sunday and we were able to get the title of "Junior Champion". My Doberman Che did pretty well considering it was his second show. I have posted some pictures of only a small handful of entrants below.
There were over eighty entrants and all did a great job. The show was held at the Avalon Hotel in Panama City and the weather was perfect the second night. A three year old Doberman won Best in Show the first night and a Visla Hound won the second night.

Boquete Obedience Class

What a great group of dogs! This is our fourth class and all dogs are heeling, sitting, staying and now learning the down. Everyone is practicing and getting wonderful results.
This Lab was not properly socialized as a puppy and was not comfortable with her new owner but look at the smile on her face now (the owner too!)

Meet the Howling Success Pack
Bizzie is a five year old Border Terrier. She came from North Carolina. To sum it up about Bizzie, her nickname is Perfect. She helps me with trick classes and puppy training. She does many tricks including sit up, wave and bang dead. She is the funniest dog I have ever owned. Her favorite toy is a rubber ring which she love to catch and play tug with. If I don't give her enough attention, she will throw the ring over her neck and just sit and look at me. Now, how do you ignore this?
Zamb is a ten year old German Shepherd. He has been a great dog also. He is from German lines and is very intellegent. He helps me with obedience classes and his specialty is assisting me with aggressive dog issues. He is definately the second in charge in our house and we always feel safe with Zamb around.
Che who is our newest addition, is a one year old Doberman. He will eventually take over Zamb's position of helping with obedience classes. He has a lot to learn, but is coming along. We recently entered a dog show in Boquete and he did very well considering his owner had never shown in Panama, and we will continue to show him in the next show coming up in April in Panama City.
What's new at Howling Success
The agility course is up and running. It took a short time and Che figured out the a-frame and now I can't keep him off of it. Zamb was a pro right from the beginning. Agility is great for exercise for dogs and allows them to develop their motor coordination. It allows dogs to become better thinkers which is always a good thing. More pictures to follow.
